As a music historian , I have written books, articles and encyclopedia entries since the late 1990s. My first book, Eight Centuries of Troubadours, was published in 2004 with Cambridge University Press. Since then, I have been published by academic presses like Routledge (Music in Films on the Middle Ages, 2014), Brepols (Chants du diable, chants du people, 2018) and Oxford University Press (Film Music: An Introduction in 11 Takes). Most recently, I have returned to my first love, writing stories and drawing. I am currently finishing several projects, including a children's story and a book about animals and music.
